Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan remix ‘Expectations’

Olivia Rodrigo has brought in her former tour opener Chappell Roan for a remix of “Expectations,” one of the standout songs from her new album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. The release also comes with a music video.

In the video, Rodrigo and Roan join a gameshow hosted by David Byrne. Rodrigo’s producer Dan Nigro also shows up in a special appearance.

Rodrigo is now on the Unraveled Tour in support of the album. Roan, who first opened for Rodrigo before breaking out on her own, has since released her debut album, won Best New Artist at the 2025 Grammy Awards, and put out new singles like “The Giver” and “The Subway.”
