Rosalía Performs Two Lux Songs on SNL

Rosalía was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in an episode hosted by comedian Shane Gillis. She performed two songs from her 2025 album Lux: “Reliquia” and “Magnolias.”

Her performance of “Reliquia” was done entirely en pointe. She also showed up in one sketch through a thought bubble, where she tried to tempt Gillis away from his dying mother’s bedside and to a Jelly Roll concert at the Sphere.

Before the episode, Rosalía appeared in a promo with Kenan Thompson. In it, she shut down his idea for “an album that blends pop and classical music in 14 languages,” saying that was already what she had made with Lux.

This was her third time on SNL. She first appeared as Bad Bunny’s guest in 2021, then made her solo debut in 2022. She was also the third musical guest of SNL’s 52nd season, after Turnstile and Katseye.
