Love and Deepspace shared a set of cocktail-style drink recipes on its official social account, using items inspired by the game’s slimes. The posts included five mixes with names like Stellablobbu, Snowyblobbu, Fiendyblobbu, Pilotblobbu, and Artsyblobbu.
Most of the drinks used harmless ingredients like juice, honey, syrup, and gelatin. But some of the suggested garnishes raised concern. One recipe mentioned flame lily, and another suggested Datura, a plant known for psychoactive effects.
Fans quickly pointed out that some of the ingredients could be unsafe to consume. A day later, the account posted a safety notice telling followers that the drinks were fictional, meant only for the game, and should not be recreated in real life.
Love and Deepspace is a science fiction romance RPG with a large and devoted player base. The game has also drawn attention for past fan backlash over a planned new character, Valko, who was later removed.
