World of Warcraft: Forever is off to a very strong start for Blizzard. The throwback version of the MMO is bringing players back to the game’s early days, with new content and quality-of-life updates added to the older setup.
Among the people jumping in is Daniel Gobey, better known as “JokerD.” He was the first player to hit level 60 in World of Warcraft Classic back in 2019, and he has now done something similar again in Forever.
Gobey reached the level cap in just three days. This time, he said he only used shorter cooldowns available on Undead characters. After he hit the milestone, a game master appeared, greeted his party, and set off fireworks.
Blizzard says Forever is one of the strongest launches in Warcraft history. Holly Longdale, World of Warcraft’s vice president, also said the game is seeing the most new players for a WoW launch in 15 years.
